Paradise Dam outlet release – Booyal Crossing may be inundated

Operational releases have commenced from the Paradise Dam outlet due to heavy rainfall in the catchment.

The dam is currently at 102.5% capacity. Expect increased river flows downstream of the dam.

The releases, combined with other downstream catchment flows, could inundate Booyal Crossing. Please avoid potential hazards and remember if it’s flooded, forget it. The boat ramp remains closed.
