STAY INFORMED – Paradise Dam spilling excess water into Burnett River

Warning area: Downstream of Paradise Dam

Paradise Dam is spilling excess water into Burnett River. Water flows from Paradise Dam are expected to remain within beds and banks of the river. Expect increased river flows in today. 

What you should do  

• Decide what you will do if flooding starts.  
• Do not enter floodwater, rivers or creeks.
